• 24V DC-DC converter. For running a laptop from a 24VDC battery supply.
• Giant Light Bulb An unusual light bulb, and a soft-start circuit for powering it.
• Mercury Switch Inverter A completely impractical circuit for running a fluorescent lamp from at 12V battery.
• Two Valve FM Radio A simple superregenerative design for the FM broadcast band.
• Desoldering Tweezers A controller for the Hakko FM-2023 handset.
• Wireless Light Bulb A trick light bulb that lights without any wires attached.
• Zener Diode Tester A simple test instrument for quickly determining the breakdown voltage of zener diodes.
• NEC Multispeed Disk Upgrade Adding extra storage to an old MS-DOS laptop that had not been designed for upgradeability.
